The area became known as the DeWeese Community.

Hilton & Samantha Paralee 'Nannie' Hilton Atterbury Married 19 Aug 1939 William Thomas 'W. T.' Hilton 15 Feb 1861 (KY) - 12 Feb 1948. Son of T. R. Hilton Samantha Paralee 'Nannie' Atterbury      Feb. 29, 1860 - Apr. 2, 1962. Daughter of Edmon Atterbury & Martha Ann Morgan.
