OBIT: Iscle Lyle Johnson, 89, was born July 1, 1912 in Alton, MO. She died May 28, 2002 at the Beverly Health Care Center in West Plains, MO. Survivors include one brother, Dorlas Holmes of Alton, MO; six nieces and nephews, James H. King of Tulsa, OK; Robert King of Columbia City, OR; Billy Helen Barnett of Vancouver, WA; Elda Gerndt of Fairfield Bay, AR; Flora Trullinger of Camas, WA; and Jan Chapman of Springfield MO; along with numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Laura Uzelle-Holmes; her husband, Doris E. Johnson; one sister, Irene King; and one brother, Lytal Holmes. Services were May 31, 2002 at the Macedonia Baptist Church with Bro. Joby Steel officiating. Burial was in the Hickory Grove Cemetery under the direction of Clary Funeral Home of Alton, MO.
