WILDERNESS CEMETERY

 

 Located at Wilderness, MO in northeast Oregon County.  From From Fremont, Carter County go south on Hwy J to Hwy K; then southwest to Wilderness.
County Rd 154 east. Sec. 32, Twp. 25, R.2W (King Twp). From Alton, MO go north on Hwy 19 about 9 miles to CR 154, go east (right) to CR 158, turn right and go to Hwy K.

Married 1) Grover Franklin 'Frank' Simpson Jul. 5, 1914; sons Dewey Maxie, Garnett Erwin, and two sons who died in infancy (buried at Falling Springs Cemetery). Married 2) Peter Andrew 'Andy' Simpson, brother of her first husband Frank, on Mar. 20, 1926; children James Venton Calvin Simpson (m. Muriel Christine Norton) and Martha 'Mabel' Simpson (m. Jimmy Dale Finch). Married 3) Thomas Jefferson White Mar. 26, 1947.
