Minnie married a Fisher & Minnie and Lou lived nearby. All of this per Maude Remby Grandstaff (step daughter)

In 1880 Census a child Lura was listed as 3 years old. This is supposed to be Rosa Bell. Will check census data further to try to be sure that this is correct. The dates of births are about 1877 and 1874 so there is a problem somewhere. I do know that Jonathan and Mary Ann are the parents of Rosa Bell. That is a proven fact.

Died - Mrs. John Roberts, at her home on lower Rocky, after a short illness. July 11, 1914. She leaves a husband, several small children, a little baby 12 days old, a grown son and daughter. The deceased was laid to rest Sunday afternoon in the Reed Cemetery on Rockey. A large concourse of friends and relatives attended the funeral.

Obituary
Frank Wesley Roberts, son of Rosa Bell Bradley and John Richman Roberts, was born in Shannon County, May 19, 1910, and departed this life March 26, 1968, at the age of 57 years, 10 months, and seven days. He was united in marriage to Opal May Simpson, Sept. 3, 1927, and to this union 8 children were born. He lived all his life in Shannon County, and was well known by his friendly smile and helping hand. He was always very kind and generous to his family and others, and was a husband and father to be proud of. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Opal; three daughters; Naomi Campbell, Van Buren, Mo., Rosa Lee Carter of Belton, Mo., and Judy Dunn of Fairfax, Alabama; five sons, Wayne of Mountain View, Mo., John, Gene, and Raymond, all of Winona, and Jack of Ellington, Mo.; and 25 grandchildren. Two grandchildren preceded him in death. He also leaves two sisters; Daisy Allen, of Winona, and Goldie Sloan of Lawrence, Kansas; two brothers: Earl of Lawrence, Kansas and Lee of Baldwin, Kansas; two half sisters, Maud Criss of Lawrence, Kansas, and Maggie Harding of St. Joseph, Mo.; and one half brother, Claude Remby of Lawrence, Kansas. He is survived by many nieces and nephews and other relatives, and will be sadly missed by his many friends and loved ones. Funeral services were conducted by Duncan Funeral Home of Mtn. View, with Rev. Earl Sigler officiating.

Services for Goldie Beatrice Sloan, 83, Lawrence, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary with the Rev. M. Jim Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Sloan died Sunday, March 12, 1995 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
She was born Jan. 12, 1912, in Winona, Mo., the daughter of John Richmond and Rosabelle Bradley Roberts. She had lived in Lawrence since 1939, when she moved from Eminence, Mo.
Mrs. Sloan was a homemaker. She attended Indian Hills Church of God in Lawrence.
She married Harl T. Sloan on March 23, 1929, in Eminence, Mo. He died Feb. 2, 1989.
Survivors include three sons, Paul, Winona, Mo., and Howard and Kenneth, both of Lawrence; a sister Daisy Mae Allen, Birch Tree, Mo.; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the mortuary.
The family suggests memorials to the Alzheimers's Disease Foundtion, in care of the mortuary.

Harl T. Sloan
Lawrence--Harl T. Sloan, 81, Lawrence, died Thursday, Feb. 2, 1989, at a
Lawrence hospital.
Mr. Sloan was a carpenter and had worked for several Lawrence contractors.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
He was born Aug. 10, 1907, at Eminence, Mo. He lived in Lawrence since
1939.
Mr. Sloan was a member of Local No. 2279 of the Carpenter's Union in
Lawrence.
He was married to Goldie Beatrice Roberts March 23, 1929, at Eminence, Mo
She survives.
Other survivors include three sons, Paul Sloan, Howard Sloan, and Kenneth
Sloan, all of Lawrence; three sisters, Icea Riney, Farmington, Mo., Edna
Grant, Van Buren, Mo., Kathalin Martin, St. Louis, Mo.; eight gtandchildren;
and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in
Lawrence. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lawrence. Mr. Sloan will
lie in state from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. today at the mortuary.
