GOLDIE BEATRICE ROBERTS SLOAN - Services for Goldie Beatrice SLOAN, 83, Lawrence Douglas Co KS, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary with the Rev. M. Jim TAYLOR officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. SLOAN died Sunday, March 12, 1995 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She was born Jan. 12, 1912 near Winona Shannon Co MO the daughter of John Richmond and Rosabelle (BRADLEY) ROBERTS. She had lived in Lawrence since 1939, when she moved from Eminence, Mo. Mrs. SLOAN was a homemaker. She attended Indian Hills Church of God in Lawrence. She married Harl T. SLOAN on March 23, 1929, in Eminence, Mo. He died Feb. 2, 1989. Survivors include three sons, Paul SLOAN, Winona MO; Howard SLOAN and Kenneth SLOAN, both of Lawrence; a sister Daisy Mae ALLEN, Birch Tree MO; eight grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren. Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the mortuary.
