Located about ¾ miles up Indian Creek alongside the Ozark Trail on the left bank of creek.

Barnhart, Lewis     Dec. 22, 1875 – Oct. 29, 1923.     MO Death Cert.#35353:  Son of Marcus Barnhart & Mary Jane Hibbard. Widower. Born in Missouri; died at Buckeye Twp, Shannon Co MO. Informant Jasper Barnhart, Clinton MO. Burial Oct. 30, 1923, at 'Home'.

NOTE: His son Everett's death certificate lists his wife as Minnie McAter or Meater...difficult to read. Son Everett is buried at Bethany.
