A SERIOUS SHOOTOING AFFRAY

SUMMERSVILLE - Last Tuesday night a serious shooting affray was
indulged in at a dance given at the residence of Mr. George Reed,
about seven miles northwest of Summersville. An altercation arose
between some of the young men which resulted in Louis Rader
receiving a pistol shot in the left leg, Jerry Orchard received two
shots, one in the back and one in the left hip, and Riley martin
received two shots, one in the right arm and one through the left
breast and shoulder.
LATER:
We are since informed that Riley Martin died from the effects of his
wounds on last Tuesday evening.
