James "Jamie" Patrick Clary, age 23, of Springfield, Missouri was killed at
11:10 p.m. from injuries he sustained after the motocycle he was riding struck
the back of another vehicle as he attempted to make a left turn at the
intersection of Cedarbrook Avenue and North Pythian Street in Springfield,
Missouri. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.
Jamie was born in Overland Park, Kansas, to James and Deborah (Henne) Clary.
He is preceded in death by his father, James Kirby Clary and his grandfather,
J.Q. Clary.
He leaves behind his mother, Deborah Clary, sister, Marisa Clary, and brother,
Bradley Clary, all of Springfield; uncles and aunts, Todd and Cindy Henne, St.
Louis, John and Cathy Clary, Eatonton, Georgia, Tom and Diana Clary, Alton,
Missouri; and cousins, Rob, Jason, Chris, Jon, and Matthew Clary, and Carrie
Henne. He also leaves behind special friend, Paige Iott, and numerous other
relatives and friends.
Jamie attended Pershing Elementary and Middle School and graduated from Glendale
High School in 2001. He was a student at OTC and was working as a landscaper.
Jamie enjoyed his passion for cars and volunteering for Special Olympics.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made directly to Special Olympics of
Southwest Missouri or a memorial has been established at Great Southern Bank in
Jaime's name.
