 Early Brown settlers in Shannon County were from Clay county Tennessee.
Jacob Brown, the father, had four brothers; James Thomas, Peter, Samuel
Porter and William Henry Brown. William Henry Brown lived in Birch Tree
in 1831 and married Permelia Witson.  Quay Brown was also related. Many
of these Browns moved on to Stone County and Oklahoma.  I am interested
in finding out more about this lineage

CAMPBELL, John Jasper - I am seeking info on John Jasper CAMPBELL, who was
born in 1838 in MO. His father was Boyd CAMPBELL, b 1818 TN, mother unknown.
Boyd CAMPBELL's parents were Lewis CAMPBELL (b 1777) and Catherine BOYD.
John Jasper CAMPBELL owned one of the first stores in Mountain View, Howell
Co, MO. I am trying to locate him in the 1850, 1860, or 1870 census in a
neighboring county. I would love to have contact with anyone else working on
this surname.

I am searching for MILLS, T.G. or Thomas G. GA > MO.  He lived in the Birch
Tree area and is buried in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.  I believe
that his daughter married a "Chrisco".  He served as a judge in the Birch

I am researching the WILLIAM HENRY JACKSON/ELIZABETH PIERCE family.
William Pierce and Elizabeth Pierce moved from middle Tennessee between 1850 and 1860. William Henry evidently died during the Civil War.  They had
several children. Come born in Tennessee, at least one in Arkansas, and the
remaining in Missouri. Their daughter, Mary Jane Jackson married my
greatgrandfather, William Benjamine Cooper. William and Mary Jane made their
home at Big Creek, Texas County, MO.

I am interested in any info on parents or siblings of Susan or Milford.

SCHNEIDER, Benjamin Andrew. Born 1848/49 in Germany, came to this country at the age of two with his parents. Was in Shannon County sometime after 1872. Possibly Mountain View area. He married Martha L. BUFF. They had at least four children: John M., Henry Leander, Edna, Lucinda. Have limited info for him. He was my great-great-grandfather. Any help greatly appreciated.
