Gregory, Martha Ellen Bell     Aug. 24, 1888 - Mar. 17, 1926.     During the Civil War, her first husband Leonard Farrar Armstrong was captured by Yankees and died at Rock Island prison. She had five children with Leonard. In 1868 she married Lysander Gregory. They moved from Boone, Franklin Co, MO to the Alley Springs area and had five children: Cora Alice (m. James William Smith); Emma Lillian; Bertha B.; John Lysander (m. Dora Elizabeth Smith) and Ethel (m. Clayton Miller). Martha's children with her first husband were Molly Armstrong; Orrie A. (m.
