Janet Jean (Brown) Fletcher, 47, of Flint, MI, formerly of Alton, MO, was born Aug. 11, 1959 in West Plains, MO; and died at her home July 13, 2007.
Survivors include her husband, R.D. Fletcher of Flint, MI; her mother, Inez (Allmon) Brown of Alton, MO; four sisters, Margaret Blanton and husband Ray of Douglass, KS; Jackie Bull and husband Ed of Gatewood, MO; Tricia Carter and husband Don of Crossville, TN; and Brenda Brooks and husband Melvin of Mountain View, MO; four brothers, Charles Brown and wife Mary of Kansas City, MO; James Brown and wife Kathleen of Alton, MO; Junior Brown and wife Sheila of Alton, MO; and David Brown of Alton, MO; her in-laws Rubin and Gail Fletcher of Swartz Creek, MI, Don and Priscilla Boal of Port Colbourne of Canada; and Terry and Mike Fletcher of Swartz Creek, MI; eight nieces; six nephews; six great-nieces; six great-nephews; and numerous other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Brown; her grandparents; and one great-nephew.
Funeral services were July 18 at the Clary Chapel in Alton, MO with Bro. Darryl Strain officiating; with burial following in the Hickory Grove Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Alton, MO.
